Doug comenzó en la Fuerza Aérea de Estados Unidos en 1983, competia con otros talentos en el concurso anual de artistas. En cuatro años, recogió 11 trofeos por tener la voz muy parecida a la de Elvis. Después de salir de la Fuerza Aérea en 1987, continuó su acto en diferentes localidades. En 1990, compitió y ocupó el cuarto lugar en el concurso mundial de imitadores de Elvis en Memphis, Tennessee . Al año siguiente, volvió a Memphis para capturar la corona con un primer lugar . En 1993, después de una exitosa audición con Leyendas En Concierto (un animado musical de Las Vegas, Nevada) comenzó a recorrer el país y el mundo. Doug ha realizado shows en lugares exóticos tales como: Bangkok, Hong Kong, Aruba, Las Bahamas, Moscú, Francia, el Reino Unido, y Dinamarca. En 1999, Doug hace la banda sonora del documental "Casi Elvis". La voz de Doug ha sido reconocida como la mas similar a la de Elvis

Cantante ingles, nacido el 4 de Junio de 1940. Su tema mas conocido "teenage tears" fue nominado en el festival de eurovision. Gran admirador y seguidor de la música de Elvis.

THE LOUD JETS (MEXICO)

Los Loud Jets se formaron en 1959 y surgieron a la fama en un concurso organizado por Radio Éxitos en el D.F. en 1960. Desde 1962 se mantuvieron haciendo giras artísticas en el extranjero durante 15 años presentándose inclusive con el nombre de 'Mexican Jets'.
Actuaron en Sudamerica, Europa, Canada y en Estados Unidos donde se presentaron en el show de Ed Sullivan.
Para los Loud Jets, 1961 fue un año de éxitos discográficos. Con sus versiones a "Agítese, haga ruido y ruede", "Hermosa Laura" y "Nena, ¿jugamos a la casita?" formaron escuela de la que varios grupos tomaron sus modelos de interpretación. Por su gran profesionalismo, desde 1962 se mantuvieron haciendo giras musicales en el extranjeros durante quince años. Regresaron eventualmente a México para continuar grabando buen rocanrol. Actuaron durante mucho tiempo por sudamérica, ocasionalmente en algunas ciudades europeas y por temporadas en Estados Unidos, donde lograron presentarse para el show de Ed Sullivan. Grabaron un disco sencillo en la marca Roulette bajo el nombre "The mexican jets".

El alma del grupo fueron los hermanos Munguía: Alejandro (vocalista) y Eduardo (requinto). En sus inicios estuvieron acompañados del guitarrista Víctor Constantino, quien al separarse de ellos fue requinto y cantante de 'Los Playboys'. (Gracias a Adriana López por la información). Después, eventualmente acompañó a músicos de la talla de Chuck Berry o Bill Halley (Nota: ha sido el único músico mexicano que lo ha hecho).

Que puedo decir acerca de Marco? El mejor imitador de Elvis en toda América Latina, uno de los mejores coleccionista a material inedito y exclusivo del Rey. Marco T. Sanchez de Colombia; un gran amigo y una gran persona, lo conocí primeramente por los Albums que he estado adquiriendo; que mas puedo decir!!!! LITTLE TONNY (ITALY)

Little Tony es un cantante muy conocido en Italia. Ha participado en múltiples ocasiones en el Festival de San Remo (1961, 1962, 1966, 1968, 1970, 1975 y 1980). Actualmente el cantante italiano, pero nacionalizado en San Marino desde su juventud, volverá a participar este año en el Festival de San Remo con la canción “Non finisce qui”.
Además de cantante ha participado en más de 24 películas y series, entre ellas, su última participación en la famosa serie “I Cesaron”, la versión italiana de “Los Serrano” de Telecinco.
De momento la televisión de San Marino no ha querido revelar si el cantante que les represente en Belgrado este año será originario del pequeño país o de Italia, solamente ha precisado que ya han recibido algunas candidaturas y que en breves semanas el grupo de expertos, con Little Tony a la cabeza, decidirá el cantante que por primera vez represente a San Marino en el festival de Eurovision 2008.
